MINI BIO: An idealistic young Southerner raised inside Autonomous Corpus and extracted just before his implant failed. After leaving the enclave, he grew up in Saldanha Bay from age 14 onward: studying American history, briefly playing in a band, and repeatedly trying (and failing) to sneak aboard ships back to the Mnemosyne. He’s genuinely kind, a little too eager, and very determined to prove himself. Full bio!

IDEAS/LINES:

Pilots: Older pilots, he probably idolizes you and treats you with respect/as authority figures. He’s much warmer and friendlier with younger pilots! Also, every pilot is likely keenly aware of his hero worship/crush on Philip, please feel free to tease him about this.

Saldanha Bay Residents: He was there for 12 years, let’s chat! He is very nice boy who was very obsessed with following his father’s footsteps into the Air Force at an early age.

Autonomous Corpus: I don’t know if there are any other characters with AC connections outside of Lia, but I’m happy for someone to not trust him or wonder if he’s a sleeper agent or something.

Music Connections: He used to be in a band and still misses it. Anyone want to jam or just chat about music with him?

Pseudo Family: Hello, he is desperate for surrogate family members since his father died and his mother/siblings are in a cult. Are you someone who would be willing to take him under your wing?

TIME IN DISLINKED: 18 years. first 3 undercover, 15 as a recruitment field agent, and now he's freshly arriving to the ship.
MINI BIO: an architect (the good kind) by trade, he's been boots on the ground in various pres cities for most of the past 15 years to recruit for dislinked and help unveiled.

he had a botched black-market implant deactivation procedure 20 years ago that causes a handful of side effects (called neuoplastic aftershocks; info at the end of his bio) — they're what took him out of the field, although this is a little secret. now he's on the ship working under ishaan while he/they figure what to do with him.

he's Lived Everywhere and Speaks a Ton of Languages (linguistic savant w/ nomadic lifestyle) and is a pleasant person who somehow also always seems like he's hungrily eyeing the verge of a nervous breakdown; like that overworked professor who still always made time for your own anxiety spirals.

IDEAS/LINES:

he's been to the mnemosyne a bunch: he made yearly admin visits so while he's not a staple, it's feasible to already know him to some degree. the beard, however, is new.

@ department heads: his condition isn't public knowledge but the grapevine can have feasibly disseminated the info to y'all. he figures it's not long until the real reason he was benched becomes public.

MINI BIO: A woman in STEM... No, seriously, she's very goal-oriented and precise with how she places herself. Has been working diligently on the Veil Tamper Protocols with the mission to extract her children since she's joined up. Recently vouched and called for the rescue of her husband (Simon kepha) for assistance with the cause, trying their best while figuring their own shit out for the sake of their kids back on Earth. She's very awkward but also strangely, distantly annoyed and sarcastic all the time. Go bother her, it's a great time... (Honestly, it's kind of hilarious, her humor is very very dry).


IDEAS/LINES:
I'm very used to reading things out in-game, and seeking the voice/tone to develop connections, but here's some easy ideas to kick it off that I think would be fun to explore!
• WORK: She works closely with Espionage from her position, so likely will need someone to give her ground-level readings? What's the deal down there. Take her with you. We're going on adventures, beam me down there Scotty. Additionally seeking a connection for whoever recruited her-- the guide for the story is in her bio! That'd be fun, and quite vulnerable to work with from her standpoint. She was very happy before she chose to leave (duh), and now she's ... a very angsty blorbo. It's totally cool.
• PERSONAL: She's kind of a tough egg to crack, especially as of lately. Tbh she probably didn't stop yapping about her husband until someone finally said, "Dude, just get him up here..."-- so if you want to warm her up, talk to her about her family! Her two kids back down on Earth! Her husband and how weird it is because they feel like strangers now! How angry she is about the stupid fall of humanity! She'll REALLY OPEN UP then!
• OTHER: Anything at all. Friends, fellow scientists, other people within the ship-- she's not very high maintenance, she can sit there and listen to someone rant while she stares at wires and her microscopes (or whatever scientists use...). Cue the occasional, "Ah... Hm... Interesting."

MINI BIO: Jovial, confident, and loud, Az is probably pretty well-known on the Mnemo by this point. He likes to hang with his fellow pilots a lot, is always down to help organise a drinks night, and can flirt up a storm.


IDEAS/LINES:
• Fellow Pilots: His friends, his confidants, the people he's probably scared shitless with his adrenalin junkie manouveurs and stunts.
• Other Friends: He does occasionally make friends with non-flyers. He promises not to hold it against you, as long as you can hang and take a joke.
• Enemies: People he's pissed off. People he's pissed off at. If you've said something shitty about a fellow pilot? He's holding a grudge. If one of his bad jokes pissed you off? He's never apologising.
• Hook-Ups: Az is here for a good time, and suspects he won't be here for a long time. So he is all for ONS and casual hookup arrangements. Probably a bit of a rake about it.

MINI BIO: Studious and neurotic, Ronen is usually throwing himself into his work to avoid focusing on his own disaster of a personal life. He's a former psychiatrist and tends to think that everyone could benefit from a little therapy... But knows he's never winning that battle on this ship.


IDEAS/LINES:
• Friends: Most likely to be people on the older side/people he works with, given that he isn't all that outgoing. Pros; sardonic sense of humour, good advice. Cons; ...god, he's a mess.
• Therapy? Therapy...? People who have taken him up on the offer of talk therapy/counseling. And the more likely alternative; people who have told him to fuck off.
• Catsitter: His go-to person for looking after his cat, Alonzo, when he's buried in his work.

MINI BIO: The least likely spy you will ever meet. He's sweet, unassuming, and a little clueless at times, but gifted with a touch of savantism when it comes to computers and the ability to finesse his way into rooms with effortless skill. An enigma wrapped in a mystery wrapped in an accent and great hair.


IDEAS/LINES:
• Friends: Hache is outgoing and nice, so he tends to befriend people easily. Probably focuses on people in his age range and the espionage cell.
• Co-Workers: ...ones who might be confused by him and his whole deal? Slightly confused by how someone this dumb is so good at the job?
• Flings: Probably more towards the start of his time at Dislinked and tapering off recently. He was figuring out his newfound feelings and tried out a few casual flings.
• Recruitment: Whoever recruited him? And potentially the person he was recruited alongside, as he was a bit of a tagalong.

MINI BIO: Miami girl transplanted to rural Canada who swerved most of her family trauma through being veiled, and was promptly launched into having a personality and anger again after her son’s chip broke and hers followed suit when she heard her toddler cry. After a while, Dislinked found her, and she also found in turn her husband and babydaddy Cal who has… been there for five years or so. She’s doing great. Super great.

• someone please mentor her, she needs some guidance and honestly her parents weren’t great

• drinking buddy or alcohol provider - prolific drinker whenever it's available!
• you got kids? - she's good with kids, despite being an only child and tire fire. Not sure if anyone actually wants to trust her with their kids, but you technically could

MINI BIO: Born and raised in Brighton, UK. Was implanted when he was 16 and wound up teaching until his implant failed. Once it failed he was relocated to Nelson, New Zealand worked on reacclimating to all of his big feelings there. After about five years, he was recruited by Dislinked and joined. He started in Supplies and moved over to Area Prep when it was created. He's friendly and generally hopeful about the future (although sometimes it feels like an uphill battle). He still holds on to anger/resentment about the state of the world and uses that to motivate himself. As serious he is about work, he likes to have a good time.


IDEAS/LINES:
• Coworkers: Anyone he knows through being part of the Espionage Cell or one of the areas he's worked in specifically.
• Friends: Friends! Anyone who he's made a connection with since living on Mnemosyne etc.
• Recruitment: Someone who recruited Jamie while he was living in Nelson to join Dislinked.
• Past Connections: Anyone he knew before the Fall or knew while he was living in Nelson. He was a bit of a mess emotionally for most of the time he lived in Nelson so he's a little different now. Also open to someone he's hooked up with or dated in the past, including his time on the Mnemosyne.

MINI BIO: Former outlander and never under the veil, originally from Guangzhou, China, but grew up in the Ararat, Victoria, Australia area. Wary, cautious, and suspicious, he's a private person who has spent most of his life just trying to survive and stay off the architect's radar. Was a smuggler and scavenger, and that's how he initially met up with the dislinked. He was the only one of his group who wanted to join the resistance, hoping to make a difference and be part of freeing humanity.


IDEAS/LINES:
• The one who recruited him! Probably met at one of the pres cities that Jinyu was scavenging in around the Victoria area. It took a bit of time for Jinyu to trust this person, but eventually, he introduced them to his group
• A partner! I don't have one for him yet, so he's open for one should anyone else need one.
• Other martial arts people to spar with on occasion.
• Friends. He's naturally suspicious and wary of people, but once he's friends with someone, he'll be loyal to the end.
• Anything. I'm down for whatever you need or want to cook up.

A former outlander, turned veiled, from Northern Ireland, she spent the first fifteen years of her life outside of architect control until shit got real for her group and she lost her dad and two older brothers when the group was busted up. She was approached by a dislinked agent when she was twenty-one, and after that, spent five years living in Laos reacclimating to being a human again. Now all she wants is to fuck over the architects and kick some ass.


IDEAS/LINES:
• A partner! She's a grump but not hard to work with. Very willing to get in there and do the hard work.
• Smoking/drinking buddies.
• Flings/past situationships.
• Other people from the Laos stronghold that she may know.
• Unlikely friends. People who don't mind how prickly she can be, who know her well enough to know that she can't function without her morning tea and cigarette.
• Enemies. She's a bit of a dickhead and will probably rub some people the wrong way.

Ultimately, she was recruited with Mav after her implant started malfunctioning. She's very friendly and chatty and super curious about everything around here. She will likely be bothering everyone, sorry to say, but she won't be upset if you tell her to fuck off. She's generally a pretty positive person who will always find the silver lining and encourage you to actually talk about your feelings rather than trying to repress everything. She's a lil feral and lacks social graces but she's well intentioned. Bio is here

• friends of all sorts! she will def try have a lil youth / newbie gang. bonus points for the black cat friend or the friend who enables her into shenanigans. she's also very emotionally open / chill with being vulnerable / commits to people quickly so could be interesting to have someone just have no idea what to do with that
• older folks she imprinted on like a duckling and now you're stuck with her. neither of her parents were really around so she does look for mentor figures to follow like a puppy
