MINI BIO: Studious and neurotic, Ronen is usually throwing himself into his work to avoid focusing on his own disaster of a personal life. He's a former psychiatrist and tends to think that everyone could benefit from a little therapy... But knows he's never winning that battle on this ship.


IDEAS/LINES:
• Friends: Most likely to be people on the older side/people he works with, given that he isn't all that outgoing. Pros; sardonic sense of humour, good advice. Cons; ...god, he's a mess.
• Therapy? Therapy...? People who have taken him up on the offer of talk therapy/counseling. And the more likely alternative; people who have told him to fuck off.
• Catsitter: His go-to person for looking after his cat, Alonzo, when he's buried in his work.

trying to decide if any of mine would participate in talk therapy is the most character-developing question i've been forced to confront thusfar... i'm going to say taryn stayonscript does actually come to him for this sometimes because it amuses me. i don't know how well therapy actually works on her tho. it's this energy.

Oh, that's absolutely how Ronen diagnoses himself, so I think he'd some decent advice for Taryn! Granted, it's advice that hasn't worked on him so far, so mileage may vary. But he'd be open to just chatting, having coffee, etc.

OKAY Philip has been long-time roommates with Jax, so he will know enough sordid (and not-so-sordid) details about that relationship to make therapy with Ronen probably totally unfeasible.

Jamie also excels in working to distract himself from things (although mostly just his emotions). He probably took Ronen up on the offer of therapy once or twice but hasn't really made too much progress because it's uncomfy.
