I also really like the idea of them balancing each other out as pilots and making each other better over the years (also love that they were both flying in the Before!) if that works for you?

I definitely love that idea! Especially because they were both flying in the Before, but in such vastly different ways. So in his early days, Az had a lot to learn from Philip when it comes to fighters, and as a point of pride tried to share the tricks and secrets he'd learned over the years.
