Ishaan is head of Recruitment, and was probably involved in her petition to rescue her husband and help them with that very fun adjustment period. He also has family still Veiled on earth and it.... it sure is the situation they are in.

AAAAA!!!! Ishaan is her very good friend. I can foresee trauma-bonding in their future. I love him, by the way. Another person on the ship that, if she could, she would bake cookies for. I feel like she is not very vulnerable with many, but Ishaan... Has seen so many emotions rage out of her (and she is a safe space, I promise, let them trauma-bond.)

I love Jo too!!! This will be fun!

Ishaan worries deeply about her, and while he struggles to let down his walls... he has for Jo, at least a bit. If he could justify pulling her kids out of the Veil, he would. :( He'll gladly be her anchor when she needs to let loose, and he's given her a little peek into his trauma too. ♥
