MINI BIO: casper’s pretty social. curious too. prefers to talk about other people rather than herself. she’s big on feeling your feelings, but she’s reluctant to share her own with too many people. she knits, she loves board games, and she reads, but like… she’s the kind of person who takes a million years to finish one book. she, pol, and bobby are raising a preteen (almost teen!) girl named terra that they picked up as a foster kid situation during their time as outlanders.

IDEAS/LINES:

• someone who’s been waiting for AGES for casper to return a book to the library so they could read it themselves
• someone who taught her how to play chess in the last three years
• educated people who’d be interested in contributing to terra’s education that bobby’s insistent on making sure she gets (everyone’s on board with it, but bobby’s in charge of it)

• she's one of those awkward ones who wouldn't have made a lot of friends but we're gonna make it work, ok
• ppl with visible hobbies — she's on the prowl for one of her own and will be staring like she's confused wildlife.
• i'm still threatening to have given her a crush last year that she gravely mishandled. tbd.

• former utah city outlanders! former nelson unveiled city residents!
• extant lines: sister (rio), other utah outlanders, the person she punched in the nose when she was unveiled (ishaan), the person who befriended her in nelson and is now more well-adjusted than she'll ever be (jamie), the victim of her "the netherlands aren't real" bit (philip).

TIME IN DISLINKED: He's an OG recruited by Verin in ye olden days. 20 years.
MINI BIO: Adrían is from Spain. He had a wife that he divorced after she got their only child implanted. He's never been veiled but did work on the tech in Spain before Verin's team beat everyone to it. He's pretty pessimistic about their chances but hey. Gotta try, right? He's currently working on continued stabilisation of the Neuroclast as well as trying to figure out to safely remove implants to alleviate some of the tension of 'will they be reactivated?'


IDEAS/LINES:
• He needs an old person club. Friends.
• A bestie he can be his whole pessimistic self with.
• People he is sleeping with/has slept with. He's poly, so overlap doesn't bother him. :) Gender is irrelevant, but age is a definite factor and you gotta be within 10 years of him.
• Neuroclast club where u at? Let's get this ish stable!
• He used to be the Neuro Implant lead, so anyone on that team that might have worked with him, or people he's tentatively experimented on to remove implants.

MINI BIO: Jax hails from the US South and is one of your resident easygoing southern gentlemen. If he owned more shirts, he'd give you the one off his back etc. He's been head of Resettlement for the last three years and has probably helped most of the newer crew with settling into Resistance life. He's rooming with Philip!

IDEAS/LINES:
• Resettlement: Did you join in the last 10 years? He probably helped you. Anyone under 2 years here, he'll still check in.
• Tattoos: Once at the end of the month he rents out an operatory in the medbay to do simple tats, nothing too big or too realistic, but nice ones.
• Baby Birds: if anyone needs a nice southern man to take them under his wing....

TIME IN DISLINKED: ~20 years, but he’s been onboard in Battlest for 5.5 years.
MINI BIO: Eli’s technically from Vancouver, but he doesn’t remember much of his life before the Fall. His parents were killed during Doss’ last air stand when he was 11ish, and he was dislinked and shipped off to Saldanha Bay after that. He joined the ship the moment he was old enough, and has spent his time throwing himself into being a pilot ever since. Unresolved parent issues and the ability to hold a grudge for fucking ever? No comment. He won’t soften himself for anything, and if you fuck around you will find out. He’s a new - and young - squad leader so here we go.

IDEAS/LINES:
• He’s been here a while, so there will be some people he knows. Only a few will actually be considered friends (hey Griff, Nim), so don’t take it too personally.
• Connections from the Bay.
• I’m honestly still figuring things out so I don’t have a lot to offer at this time because my brain is a little burnt out ❤️

TIME IN DISLINKED: 1-1.5 years (but lived with them since childhood).
MINI BIO: alert, curious, and a little too fearless for her own good. eleanor is generally friendly and easy to talk to, far more interested in other people than in unpacking herself, but there’s a recklessness under it—an edge that comes from growing up knowing exactly what was taken from her. battlest by choice and by instinct, she throws herself into the work with the quiet confidence of someone who feels like she has nothing left to lose, only damage to do. has grown up around Dislinked/on Mnemosyne for most of her life after being saved by them at 7 and then adopted by Taryn.

IDEAS/LINES:
• people who knew eleanor growing up on the base — older sibling / cool aunt / overprotective uncle vibes who still see her as “the kid”
• are there any other people who kind of grew up with dislinked?? be her childhood friend
• someone who’s had to physically stop her from doing something stupid because she absolutely would have done it otherwise
• parkour / sparring buddies, or someone who dared her into something she couldn’t refuse
• a hookup or two now that there are people her age around. since she grew up not around a lot of people her age she's p inexperienced so they would have been more make outs than full hook ups
• a best friend she didn’t expect to need but absolutely does now
• pilots or tech-minded people she asks a million questions and then immediately drags into trouble
• unveiled she’s curious about and keeps gently (or not-so-gently) poking with questions, since she's never experienced or had to live in it
• ANYTHING with tension, loyalty, bad decisions, or “we shouldn’t but we did” energy — let’s plot

TIME IN DISLINKED: ~10 years
MINI BIO: Pre-fall: KLM pilot & fuckboy. He is Dutch, but has learned to tone down (some/most) of the directness that they're infamous for. Veiled during the Fall, unVeiled ten years later after some TIF action and got himself into Dislinked asap. He's generally pretty friendly (and if it's a superficial friendliness, he'd prefer if you didn't realise) and takes his piloting seriously.

IDEAS/LINES:
• Pilots he has mentored over the years.
• Newbie(s) he is mentoring NOW.
• The pilot he is in direct competition with (good-natured contention keeps the skills sharp).
• A bestie (platonic) who likes to cheerfully remind him that he IS part of the olds gang now.
• Hookups past and present, any gender. It's casual and no strings attached for most of them.

TIME IN DISLINKED: ~3 years
MINI BIO: A Londoner whose family was skiing somewhere in Aspen when the Fall fell, Rio found herself a sister in the rubble (Remy), and together they: joined the Utah outlanders ➡️ got chipped ➡️ got out ➡️ chilled in the NZ stronghold. She has spent much of her post-Fall pre-Veiled/unVeiled life stealing, which made her a natural fit for supplies, because girl sure does get a buzz from theft (the feel-good element of bringing necessities to the resistance is also there but like, the buzz!!). She's a mean girl's girl.

IDEAS/LINES:
• Utah crew frens.
• Fellow thieves in Supplies.
• That one Terrible Boy she hooks up with when she's in a bad mood (he's probably not terrible). Girls (terrible & not-terrible)!
• She likes it when people owe her stuff (whether they realise this is their problem) so she often takes requests for Non-Essential But Fun items when she's out on a supply run. Let her get you stuff (for a price)(you probably don't know the price).

CHARACTER: Josefin Wijk (yo-seh-FIN VEEK), more commonly called Sefi. Don't call her Jo!
CELL & ROLE: Scientist & Engineer. Sefi is a mechanic that works primarily on the Mnemosyne itself.
TIME IN DISLINKED: About 5 years.
MINI BIO: Sefi is a sweet but socially anxious fixture on Mnemosyne. She's friendly, and makes an effort to socialize with everyone, but also deeply second-guesses herself in everything she does and has a tendency to spiral when she isn't reassured. A hopeless romantic living in a decidedly unromantic world, she often has ill-fated crushes which she rarely acts on.

IDEAS/LINES:
• Sefi was in Nelson, NZ from 6AI until she joined Dislinked at 26. She worked as an automechanic there. Previously she had lived in Pres Stockholm, Sweden.
• She is the proud owner of a beloved iPod classic, and enjoys swapping music files with other Dislinked agents. Her favorite artist is The Indigo Girls and she has their complete discography. Her second favorite kind of music is music she's never heard before, so she'll take any recommendations or trades and her library is eclectic.
• She is currently crushless, a dangerous situation for her to be in. If you want to be her next ill-fated crush, the position is open, but you MUST not fall in love with her. Thanks.
• Also, anything! Anything at all! I will be hitting up other people's intros as they go up, but she will bother anyone repeatedly.

MINI BIO: Irina is an Outlander from Belarus, from one of the first Outlander settlements in Eastern Europe, and has never been under the Veil. She's more :| than she is :) but her life has been difficult ok? The surface is harder than the outside, however, and she will be your tough love mom friend, the person who tells it to your face, the one who will throw down for you.

IDEAS/LINES:
• lola is her roommate, philip is her mentor, incoming ishaan recruited her
• outlanders: hello, irina automatically trusts you more than most of the people here. trust is a WIP, very sorry to all.
• language: who has been helping to teach her english since she came on board? maybe there's an ESL study group...?! if anyone is interested in learning russian, she's your girl.
• pump it: this is a psycho who goes to the gym at like 6am, and twice a day. she spends way more than 3 hours a week in there. WHO'S IN THERE AT 6AM WITH HER.

MINI BIO: cool and unflappable former parisienne with a taste for risk and pleasure. she lived as an outlander in thailand through her teens, but the group got rounded up and chipped in her early 20s. she spent seven years under the veil until a dislinked operative helped spring her and get her to the unveiled community in laos. she can be quite flippant when she’s not on the job, but knows when to lock in. full bio!

IDEAS/LINES:

gym heads — she’s there early, often, and treats it like therapy. who’s on the same schedule?

sparring partners — her father was a champion Khun Khmer boxer and she's well-trained. who wants to release some tension with her?

flings — all genders fine, but she has a hard no strings attached rule.

pop-up bar? — whether this will be allowed remains to be seen, but she’s absolutely going to try to turn the common area into a bar every first saturday of the month.

MINI BIO: croatian-born former soap star and hollywood agent who learned early how to become whatever a room needed. chipped before the fall (i suspect hollywood types were very on board with what the chip was selling) but was UnVeiled only two years after the fall. he was a disliked recruiter for 10 years, but after a double-agent incident left him injured and shaken, he retrained into dreamscape with a focus on rooting out traitors and spies. full bio!

IDEAS/LINES:

friends — he’s been around for quite a long time and he's very sociable!

former recruits — if you joined dislinked between 2 & 12 AI, he could've recruited you! let’s chat!

anyone who helps him with his leg — rehab buddies? people who remind him to use his cane more?

as the sun set fans - he was a fairly big (daytime) tv star in the US from 1993-1999 (assuming i’ve done my math correctly). most characters will be too young, but feel free to have your characters’ parents know him? or tell him they were too young. it’s a thing he handles so well every time it happens. :)

exes / flings — he’s been around for a long time! open to 1 or 2 exes (amicable, notably not amicable, whatever) and past flings with any gender!

I need to noodle if Irina knows him via TV because it would've need to be dubbed in Russian, but otherwise I cannae think of immediate overlap. They are both Slavic????
