Happy February and welcome to the first full month of game! Buckle up because it's a doozy. You can find February's plot calendar here: I'm a handy link! To volunteer, simply reply under the appropriate comment.

But first, a few things to keep in mind:

Pcal slots are limited. Because of this, please only claim one spot to start with and wait 24 hours to claim a second.

Decision Points. You'll notice that there is a decision point listed on the pcal this month. During the event, a discussion will be had where the game decides whether or not to act on information gathered. Depending on the decision, new missions may appear with volunteers ICLY asked for. Keep in mind these will have quick turn around times, so make sure you can do a quick log if you want to volunteer.

Success Rolls. Starting this month, missions can fail and injuries can be incurred. If an event is subject to these rolls, it will be noted.

Some events have pre-populated people in them. This is because the event is either a suggestion from the player, requires a certain position (in this example, Squadron Leaders), or is a follow up either a previous mission or IC conversation. Pre-populated slots do not count against that player's ability to volunteer.
i.e. Gia, Rachael, and Megan are pre-populated in the pilot event King of the Hill. If they wanted to, they could still volunteer for another slot.

A Note on Squadron Volunteer Slots. We don't have any specific ones for this month, but since there was some kerfuffle last month, I want to make it clear that when it comes to volunteering for pcal slots if a Squadron is required, only one person needs to volunteer. While the slot is for the whole squadron, it isn't fair to penalize everyone for one person volunteering. As such, the person who volunteered is the one responsible for the event — other members of the squadron can (and are encouraged to!) be active in the event, but the one slot per person in the first 24 hours only applies to the person who volunteered.

This post also serves as our monthly interest check. If you are interested in continuing with the game, leave a comment or gif or something under the appropriate header with your name (not your characters') as the subject. Anyone who has not responded by noon, 2/3/2026 will be swept.
