TIME IN DISLINKED: 8 years
MINI BIO: Kit was only veiled for a few years before his implant malfunctioned and he was whisked away to Saldanha Bay. He spent years there, training to become a pilot, before officially joining. He was partnered with Eli for awhile before Eli made captain and now he's with Irina and Remy. Recently reunited with his baby brother and he has a lot of Feelings. Personality-wise, he's very much the peacekeeper / caretaker. please do not ask him to talk about himself, thank you, but he is always willing to be a listening ear. generally pretty sensible but also easily swayed into dumb personal decisions because fuck it, they're living through an alien invasion. lowkey a mess but it's fiiiiine, at least he's good at his job. he also has a very smol cat that can be befriended. I'm tired and my head hurts lol but bio is here


IDEAS/LINES:
• an enabler or bad decisions friend. also drinking buddies
• fwb or a hookup who otherwise won't really talk to him. potentially an ex. he will likely Yearn for someone but may see how things go in game first
• pilot buds. an older pilot who mentored him and/or a newbie he helped would be fun

i'm apologizing for squadmate remy being squadmate remy! she won't be extra mean because he's friends with irina but she'll be, y'know, herself.

aaand dom's his roommate! they probably know each other from dom coming to the ship over the last eight years, but unfort he... ALSO comes with a caveat where he's trying super hard to hide the side effects from his chip and so i don't think he'll chill out immediately in their space. 😓 which, super great, is a difference from his attitude in previous meetings. this will get better with time lmao but i'm sure he likes kit plenty bc he appreciates a good soul.

I have:

Simon, who, in addition to being around the same age as Kit, shares some personality traits/tendencies with respect to perfectionism, humor as a coping mechanism, and repressing feeeeeelings. I would love for these two to be friends!

Luke, brand spanking new, who honestly would never in his entire life enable Kit to make any bad decisions. Luke is technically capable of being a pilot, as a cargo hauler, but not in the Dislinked. I think we can see how things go with FWB or hookups, if they have chemistry in game, but would be very pleased if these two ended up as friends, also!

he is the sort of nice boy lola would try to eat alive if you want to do an ex fwb or a current one? i'm open. but more importantly there is FOX who is also a pilot who was also in Saldanha Bay and he probably idolizes kit a bit!

MINI BIO: Fresh face to Dislinked. He doesn't remember a time with implants, he was around 5 when he got it afer the passing of his mother. He has been unveiled for a couple of years, has been living in one of the settlements, and has always wanted to give back. So that is what he is doing now. He struggles with emotional regulation because he never had to learn to regulate his emotions. Recently reunited with his older brother.


IDEAS/LINES:
• Mentor him, take him under your wing
• He would love to make new friends
• Maybe past connections
• Anything really, would love to throw him at situations where he has to manage his emotions and spectacularly fails.
• He can be a bit of an accidental flirt so there is that

Simon is brand new, too! Maybe they can be a little lost together, although I'm seeing and enjoying the potential of them clashing a little, maybe at first, as they realize that Archie willingly joined the Dislinked whereas Simon probably wouldn't have if Jo were not already here... Juicy things...

Luke IS HIS ROOMMATE!!!!!!!!!! ARCHIE IS BRAND NEW... LUKE IS NOT... I kinda just want to throw them together and see what sticks, but I feel like there's lots of potential for all sorts of fun! Very excited!!!!

• Friends! Honestly he's very easy going and he com.part.mentalizes his guilt, so he can get down and have a good time! The bad feelings are always happening in the background, never the foreground. :)
