TIME IN DISLINKED: 11 years
MINI BIO: Unveiled by his dying grandfather when he was only 15, Ishaan was on his own in hiding for nearly a decade before Dislinked found him. Excellent at passing among the Veiled, he joined recruitment to help Unveil civilians and find suitable Dislinked candidates. He's been the head of Recruitment for 3 years now, dealing with dispatches and onboarding new arrivals.

IDEAS/LINES:
• People he's recruited, obviously! Ishaan's been an active recruiter across the globe for the past 10 years, so he's been there to personally welcome a lot of people.
• He doesn't have a lot of close friends, but if you think they'd be close, lmk!
• Potential hookups, but he always pretends nothing happened the next day.
• People who get on his nerves -- even if you're a cool person and he knows that, he's not above being passive-aggressive anyway.
• A longer term wanted: A sibling or childhood friend he selfishly Unveiled in the last 5 years. After pulling them out, they're struggling with the realization that they've kind of just met. For most of their time together, one of them was still under the Veil.
• A pretty good English teacher, since that's what both of his parents are. (They are still Veiled and he's fine with that. He's fine about a lot of things.)
• Likes to indulge in substances (weed, alcohol, tobacco) if anyone wants to be a partner-in-crime for that. He's kind of self-medicating don't worry about it.

Okay so recruited Irina and she is fond of him for obvious reasons. She would have taken him up on English lessons at first, maybe it's less now since she's also doing them with Casper possibly because he got busy?

He is BESTIES!!!!! with Jax as we know. It v cute they were promoted to heads of their area around the same time.

i think we've covered basically everything else but from their meme convos i think sefi likes ishaan a lot even if he makes her a lil nervous sometimes. she would've come thru recruitment like ~5 years ago so i assume they met then!

so niko was in recruitment for about 10 years... 8 years ago. so i do not think they overlapped but i feel like they should still be friendly? if he can tolerate niko's whole vibe, which is narcissism and general intensity.

he could have recruited lola unless you are a lil full up on recruits?

They had like... 1.5 years of overlap when Ishaan was brand new, so they might not remember one another. BUT if Niko can tolerate Ishaan being deadpan sarcastic when Niko brags, they can be friendly 100%

Ishaan is a busybody who loves collecting ducklings he will never be full up on recruits. (Also he's been doing this for 10 years he loves his recruited flock.)

One more story hook for Ishaan: He's trying to learn more languages. He's already fluent in Hindi, English, Bengali and Spanish. The openings are:

a) One he's been practicing with [CHARACTER A], and he's picking it up pretty well.

b) Another he started recently with [CHARACTER B], but it's not clicking yet.
