ANNOUNCEMENTS & PCAL

WELCOME
Hello and welcome to the pre-game announcements! I know we're all anxious to get started and kick some alien butt, but I wanted to make sure that we're all starting off on the same page and have the same expectations!

First & foremost: the game opens tomorrow! Players are free to post after the plot event is posted. I'm aiming for this to be no later than 2pm EST (please bear with me: I'm still sick and I have to get my tires changed tomorrow morning).

Pcals will look different! This game is mission heavy and the outcomes of those missions will be what drives the plot. Since we only have half a month for January, the MISSION: FAIL/SUCCEED WITH CONSEQUENCES/FLAWLESS SUCCESS mechanic will be introduced next month. For this month, everything succeeds. After all, we deserve nice things, right?

At the bottom of each event is the expectation of anyone who is volunteering. If it says that it is a Group Mini Log Post, there will be an additional information post 10 days prior to the event to give everyone time to plot and write.

When it comes to volunteering for pcal slots, if a Squadron is required, it is up to that squad to determine how they want to handle that. My suggestion is if two people are good to write, hash out the details with the group and then let two people take point. Not everyone has to write in order to volunteer a squadron.

If there is something that you as a player (or your character) would like to explore in game (Adri, for example, is working on figuring out how to take the implants out for good), let me know! If you want to do something but you're not sure what, chat with me! I have all sorts of things that people can get involved in that aren't on the pcal!

Unless you have never been veiled or are a TIF, your character runs the risk of being put back under. Obviously, this is going to be a sign up thing and not a Sherri rolls a dice and whoops guess X character is under again! But this is and always is an active threat.
